Initially developed in January 2003, this site has provided valuable support to over 1.5 million visitors from all continents, and continues to be managed by RoHS veteran and former Managing Director of Dionics Plc, Paul Chinery.

Now, two years on from the introduction of the Restriction of certain Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS), we've changed our focus slightly, recognising that most organisations probably have a basic understanding of the requirements of the legislation.

Much of our popular free guidance is still available, including the ever popular RoHS Simplified, though the updated information is now enhanced by more challenging questions and examples.  And, for those organisations that need a little extra help, we have a range of solutions designed to help organisations implement, audit and verify compliance.

If you do fall within the scope of the Directive, but have yet to address compliance, don't panic.  You certainly aren't alone, and are probably in the majority if the agency responsible for enforcement in the UK is to be believed.  NWML claim "... 99% of products are 99% compliant ...". However, you must begin to take positive action if you are to avoid prosecution.  Our solutions are scaleable providing as much, or as little help as you need.
